2 player games on one device
55 game types, 135 games. Free. No ads, no sign-up, no tracking. Works offline.
Every game on this list can be played by two people sharing one phone, tablet or computer, taking turns on the same screen. Most of them can also be played against the computer, so you can practise alone and then challenge a friend.
There are classic board games such as chess, draughts, backgammon, Go and mancala, quick ones such as noughts and crosses, dots and boxes and four in a row, and a few face to face arcade games such as air hockey. Nothing needs an account or a second device, and once Play-Ready has loaded every game keeps working without internet, which makes them handy on a train, in a waiting room or at the kitchen table.
How we chose these: A game type is listed when two people can play it on the same device, as it is built on Play-Ready. Players, ages and times are suggestions.
